- HAVE FUN!
-
PUZA Corp aka MS Puzzlehunt 24 is open to both local and remote teams.
For local teams, there are three on-location puzzles to be solved before the hunt weekend
and two on-campus puzzles to be solved during the weekend.
Local teams require a minimum of two Microsoft employees.
The puzzles that involve travel are clearly identified.
-
These buildings are OFF LIMITS and should not be entered under any circumstances:
Studio B, C, F, G, X;
One Esterra;
Buildings 19, 22, 25, 30, 33, 34, 35, 41, 42, 43, 87, 92,
109, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 120, 123, 125, 126, 127/127B,
and all construction areas.
-
Teams can have a maximum of 12 players, and a minimum of 8 players is strongly recommended.
If you are a local team (solving on the Microsoft campus), you must have at least two members who
have valid Microsoft badges.
The employees on each team are responsible for registering guests, escorting them while on campus,
and following Microsoft rules.
Guests must be accompanied by someone with a blue badge at all times.
For remote teams (not on the Microsoft campus), there is no Microsoft employee requirement.
These requirements are set on a per-hunt basis and may be different in any future hunt.
-
To participate, you must register your team prior to the beginning of the event (10am Pacific time on
June 7, 2025).
Just in case some of your team members don’t join your team in advance,
you will be allowed to add and remove members until noon.
After that time, if you need to make changes you will need to contact the hunt organizers.
-
Generally, you should use the thread submission system on puzzles to submit questions
or hint requests. Click the “Need help?” link in the upper right, then
unlock “Ask questions to the author directly.”
If that doesn’t work, email to puzzlehunt24@gmail.com.
-
Participants in this hunt are expected to demonstrate honor and
integrity and not do anything that is not in the spirit of fair
competition. Simply put they should not:
-
obtain puzzle answers through any means other than solving
or back-solving puzzles;
-
do anything that would interfere with another team’s
enjoyment of the hunt;
-
have puzzles solved by anyone not on their team, including AI
(it’s OK to do internet searches for information you might need, or
to ask a friend for help with an isolated clue);
-
collude with other teams; or
-
demonstrate a lack of honor or integrity.
If you are unsure if something you are considering doing is
really in the spirit of the hunt, it probably isn’t.
-
Each team must be reachable by email during the hunt at the address listed on their team details page.
Some important updates may be sent out via email.
