Celebrating 25 years of Intern Puzzleday!

WELCOME TO PUZZLEDAY

Puzzleday is a fun 8-hour event where teams of 10-12 players solve puzzles. We accept puzzle solvers of all levels! Check out our FAQ and Rules pages for more information or to request accommodations.

The theme for this year is all our past themes! This is in celebration of this event's 25th anniversary.

NEW TO PUZZLES?

You may know about crosswords and Sudoku, but there's much more! If you've never done this before, check out a few sample puzzles or some from our past events. Also, take a look at our in-depth guide to getting started.

FULL SCHEDULE (all times PDT)

PREGAME (optional)

Every day from July 8^th through July 11^th, we will release two puzzles on this website at 5PM. They're just for fun and won't count toward the event, but they will help you learn how the site works and they can be solved even if you're not on a team yet.

DAY OF EVENT (July 13)

9:30 Meet in 33/McKinley to sign in and get important information
10:00 Opening ceremony and release of puzzles
10:15-5:00 Solve puzzles in your assigned conference rooms
5:15-6ish Meet in 33/McKinley to celebrate the winners, see the solutions, and chat with the authors

HOW TO SIGN UP

Registration is open! You can find or create a team after you register for the event.

By the time the event starts, teams must have at least 6 interns present on the Redmond campus during the event. All teams can include remote interns, as well as up to 2 non-Microsoft-employee guests. Max team size is 12, and it's recommended to have at least 10.

By the day of the event, if your team has fewer than 6 people, you will need to combine with another team. We can help you do this during sign-in if you can't do it ahead of time.
